Dr. Anil Patel has been practicing since 1990 with a specialization in Internal Medicine. He served as the medical director for Heritage Hall Nursing and Rehabilitation from 1993 to 2017 and is now a senior consultant. From 1998 to 2002 he was the Chief of Internal Medicine at Inova Loudoun Hospital. He is also a senior airman medical examiner performing physicals for commercial pilots and air traffic controllers.
Our Practice philosophy is to prevent disease by a proactive approach. We consider ourselves to be partners in health with our patients and to prevent disease before it starts. During each visit with us, no matter what the reason for your visit is, we will review your blood pressure, weight, body mass index, and general health and give you preventative tips about your health. These tips will include dietary changes, over-the- counter supplements, exercise tips and more. Dr.Patel always provides his patients with a personalized written note containing specific recommendations for the care of each disease or health condition.
We look at all of our patients as our extended family members. All of our medical recommendations are based on years of medical training, as well as extensive research. Dr. Patel continuously attends medical seminars and remains up-to- date with the field of internal medicine, nutrition, and anti-aging. Dr. Patel and all of the DMG Medical Staff personally follow all of the preventative and dietary recommendations we offer and are able to share their personal experience with you.
